Alla is working towards a Master of Science in International Business in TBS Education (Toulouse, France). She holds a Bachelor degree in International Business from Донецький національний університет ім. Василя Стуса (Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus) and was an exchange student at Poznan University of Economics and Business. Alla is active in Erasmus+ activities, and works as an intern at the Belgian non-governmental organisation “CODEC”. Also, she worked with ESC volunteers and coordinated youth projects in the Ukrainian NGO “Pangea Ultima” at the local and international levels.

Kyryl Vuzkyi

Kyryl is a high school student who is fond of the history of Europe, philosophy, political science, diplomacy, the history of diplomacy, and the art of debate. He is the leader of the student self-government, and joins in the organisation of school events, both charitable (fairs, meetings) and cultural and educational (performances, projects). Anna Vietrova

Anna is an ambitious and diligent student whose passions lie in political science, children’s rights, and education. Beyond her academic career, she is a committed Member of the newly established UNICEF Ukraine Young People Advisory Board as well as a Head of the Commission of International Cooperation and Tourism in the Kharkiv Youth Council. Oleksandra Ushakova

Oleksandra is currently studying law at Національний юридичний університет імені Ярослава Мудрого (National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise). She has been actively engaged in public activities since 2020. Oleksandra has been involved in numerous projects and worked in a variety of non-governmental organisations. She has experience as a deputy assistant, director of Academic Activities in ELSA Kharkiv, and Erasmus+ program participant. She presently conducts her activities as a deputy of the Youth Council under the Kharkiv city mayor and believes that young people have the capacity to influence global change in their city and country.

Oleksandr Tuz

Oleksandr is a third-year student at the Державний податковий університет (State Tax University), reading Legal Regulation of Public and Private Relations. Myroslava Trofymchuk

Myroslava studied in Kakhovka gymnasia but is currently learning a new language and culture and studying in German gymnasia. She has always been interested in how and what we can do to change our world, and in 2022 she won first place in the “Genius Olympiad” for a video project. Nowadays, she is also passionate about history, geography, reading and travelling. Her favourite proverb is “The world is a book and those who don’t travel read only one page!” Myroslava looks forward to travelling in her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Mariia Sukova

Mariia holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations obtained in Poland. During her time at University, she completed an internship at the Poland Pavilion during World EXPO 2020 hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Mariia is highly interested in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), democracy, educational policy and climate change. As a Young European Ambassador, she is ready to be a thought leader in society to build a better future together.

Oleksandra Sukova

Oleksandra is a first-year bachelor degree student majoring in psychology at the University of Economics and Human Sciences. From the beginning of the war in Ukraine, she began to volunteer, and for more than 3 months she continuously helped people from various volunteer organisations. She is interested in all cultures and in particular the European Union, and she believes that in unity there is peace and prosperity. Oleksandra is a creative and empathetic person, willing to develop and improve.

Olena Strapchuk

Olena is in her second year of undergraduate studies at В.Н. Каразін Харківський національний університет (V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University). She is active in the public sector, having volunteered in many Ukrainian cities, interning at the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Belgium in Lviv, the Analytical Centre ADASTRA as the author of several articles, and is currently working as an Accreditation Expert in NAQA (National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance) to assist in developing the Ukrainian educational system. Kostiantyn Sokolchuk

  • Current residence: Bratislava, Slovakia
Kostiantyn is a graduate student in subject areas pertaining to hydrology and landscape architecture. He is keenly interested in projects from a variety of branches of environmental sciences and urban planning. At the moment, he is conducting research in Slovakia, having completed his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Hydrology in Ukraine.

Tetiana Shevchenko

Tetiana is a FLEX alumna. Tetiana is engaged in her GAP year activities and has plans to advance human rights in South Africa on the Global citizen year program. Tetiana is also looking to pursue a degree in international relations in the near future. She is also passionate about human rights, democracy and refugee status in today’s world.

Anna Shcherbak

Anna is from Izyum, and is currently enjoying her gap year, working as an ESC volunteer in Finland in a school and youth house. She enjoys teaching and working with children. Anna is highly interested in history, politics, and learning languages. She considers herself an active citizen and looks forward to rebuilding Ukraine when she is able to return from the volunteering program.

Sofiia Shayda

Sofiia is a student of International Relations and Philology at the Львівський національний університет імені Івана Франка (Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko). Aside from her studies, she organises charity literature and acoustic evenings and leads the PR&Media Committee of the International Relations Student Council. Mariana Shapovalova

Mariana is studying for a Bachelor degree at the Faculty of Electronics of the Національний технічний університет України “Київський політехнічний інститут імені Ігоря Сікорського” (National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”). She is also interested in history, learning languages, law, and international relations. Mariana has taken part in law and history research conferences and is actively engaged in local volunteer programs. Dariia Semenova

Dariia is in her third year of medical studies and is currently residing in Ukraine. She is a part of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA), where she is a project coordinator. Daria is currently an intern at the Lviv Department of Health, but has also spent time as an exchange student in the USA in a program sponsored by American Councils – FLEX.
