Rînja Grigore is actively involved in society, a high school student who has great goals and works to achieve them. After participating in a Parliament simulation for youth, he gained an interest in politics and this will be the field he will study. He is convinced that one way to change the world is to be involved. Volunteering has become a part of his life and he believes that life can be better, reading, debating, volunteering and sports are some of his passions, and he has always enjoyed trying new challenges. Most importantly, He has managed to shape a powerful personality ready for great things, and one day He will be proud of Himself.

Nicu Miron, currently studying Political Science at the Otto Friedrich Bamberg University in his second year of Bachelor. Recently accepted as a new member of BETA Europe (Bringing Europeans Together Association) and as a member of the Volunteer Organization Rotaract both in Moldova and Germany. During his studies, his focus lays mostly on international relations and comparative politics.

Lebădă Valeria is a passionate, ambitious, devoted, creative, hardworking and straightforward person, who has a special interest in diplomacy and human rights. Curentlly, she is studying in high school, where she showed an outstanding involvement and academic success. Valeria is fully dedicated to informing young adults about their rights thru different interactive activities. Also, she is a volunteering project developer on topics as gender equality, young women opportunities, mental health and political science.

Mariana Burac is a third-year student of European Studies with a major in European Law and a minor in East European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. In 2019, she participated as a member of the Election Board at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Netherlands. Moreover, in 2020, she was the national observer from Promo-LEX (in the Netherlands) at the Moldovan Presidential elections. Mariana is interested in European Affairs and in the development of the EU’s relationship with its neighbours.

Doina Portas studies at the “Onisifor Ghibu” lyceum in Chisinau, having her last year of school. She is a young lady that is going to do her Bachelor degree in Europe, in the fields of law/political science. She participated in projects like: EU4Youth and MEU’s (Model European Union). Her plans for the future are to be as involved as possible in various international initiatives and to learn more foreign languages.

Gabriela Taran

Taran Gabriela student at Heritage International School in Moldova, Chisinau. She participated in many international competitions such as World Scholars Cup winning the third place in the national round in 2017, and fourth place in 2018, along with a history national competition managing to obtain the third place in Moldova. Following with honorable mentions from the school’s academic staff. She was also the chair of eco committee in the student council of Heritage for over a year, implementing new ways to keep the school sustainable and eco-friendly.

Alexandru Fazlî

Fazlî Alexandru is a 12th-grade student. He is interested in International Relations and Law and wants to continue his studies at a University that provides such faculties. For 2 years, Alex does volunteering, he volunteered at several events and nowadays volunteers for some organizations also, he possesses a volunteer card. Alex is very happy that has the opportunity to share EU values in his home country – the Republic of Moldova and wishes his country will change for the better because of the effort did by the YEAs initiative and its beautiful team members.

Patricia is a high school student from Chișinău. She is involved in multiple volunteering organizations and projects directed towards the youth. She is particularly interested in the environment and is actively participating in projects, such as the Climate Action Projects in 2020, to raise awareness about the environmental issues in Moldova.

Livia-Dumitrița Covaliov

Livia-Dumitrița Covaliov is, at the moment, a senior at the Vasile Alecsandri Lyceum from her local town, Ungheni, Republic of Moldova, always looking to improve, challenge and develop herself. Being a FLEX 2020 alumna, an ACCESS Microscholarship Program alumna, debater in the “IDEA debate club”, member of her school’s Council of Pupils, she learned that change can only happen if people come together as one and they work for the greater good. That’s precisely why she became a Young European Ambassador. She is excited to learn more about the world, the EU and about what she can do to make a difference.

Constantin Arhip

Constantin Arhip is an Applied Economics student at the Corvinus University of Budapest. In the framework of his studies, he has been awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship. In 2018, he received a scholarship to be part of the Eastern Partnership European School in Georgia. Currently, he holds an International Baccalaureate Full Diploma. During high school, he had the chance to participate in a myriad of projects including MEU Strasbourg, Global-In Fellowship, MUSS Baku, ISFiT, EYP Tbilisi, and the 4th IPRE Spring School.

Adelina Grozav

Adelina Grozav is a prospective student at University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her chosen bachelor is International Business. Furthermore, she has been a Young Ambassador for Peace in Eastern Europe and Caucasus Initiative, a Ted Ed Club speaker, a councillor in a local organisation and an Erasmus+ enthusiast. She participated in 7 youth exchanges, receiving knowledge about Cultural Awareness, Non-formal Education and Career Perspectives. Adelina was a volunteer at National Youth Council of Moldova and America House, where she initiated projects for educational purposes and conducted informative sessions about the impact of Artificial Intelligence in society and business.

Teodora Drucec

Teodora Drucec is currently in her last year of high school. Throughout the years she got involved in different local volunteering projects, coordinating some of them. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
