Yaroslav Lypovetskyi

Having graduated from the Ukrainian Leadership Academy in Mariupol, Yaroslav is currently enrolled at the New York University Abu Dhabi, while continuing to work as an activist for Ukrainian Students for Freedom. Interested in politics, international affairs, business and computer science, Yaroslav grew up in the small town of Bucha. He is also passionate about inspiring people which he demonstrates through his YouTube channel “Стремление / Lypovetskyi”, and his work as a Young European Ambassador.

Polina Lototska

Polina is currently enrolled on a Bachelor degree programme at the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko), reading International Relations and Communications. Due to the ramifications of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Polina is now living in Belgium, and continues her studies in Brussels at the École pratique des hautes études commerciales. She speaks 4 languages – Ukrainian, Russian, English and Spanish, but is also working on her French. Polina is no stranger to the European Parliament having attended at least three meetings which were related to Ukraine.

Violetta Kukuruza

Violetta is a civil activist and a youth worker from Ukraine. She is a FLEX alumnus and a scholar studying at the International Baccalaureate School in Georgia, and Avenues: The World School in the United States. Violetta loves singing, writing poems, and talking about Ukraine and her home, Crimea. She believes in the power of young people and is ready to be involved in cooperative action to address global issues in our society.

Viktoria Kravets

Viktoria is currently studying Political Science at the Український католицький університет (Ukrainian Catholic University). She is engaged in volunteering, and public activities, and is the vice-chairman of the Lviv Children’s Advisory Council, the ambassador of U-Report Ukraine, and the co-organiser of the “Molodvizh” event. Viktoria has also worked with UNICEF (International Mayors Summit, Children 2021 summit, media campaigns, the “Child-friendly cities” strategy, etc.). She also formed part of the working group and delegation to the Youth Capital of Europe 2025.

Mariia Koval

Mariia is a junior at LEAF Academy and currently lives in Bratislava, Slovakia. She is passionate about youth events at the local and national levels, and actively volunteers both in Ukraine and abroad as an exchange student. After participating in the European Youth Parliament and Model European Parliament initiatives, Mariia developed a strong wish to raise awareness about the European Union – Eastern Partnership. Her sphere of interest includes international relations, European studies, and foreign languages.

Anastasiia Kostenko

Anastasiia is a second-year Bachelor degree student of International Relations and International Communication at Харківський національний університет іменi В.Н. Mariia Kobchenko

Masha studies in the 11th grade. Currently, she is engaged in volunteering and projects in her hometown, though her greatest passions are law and economics. Mariia is also engaged in scientific activity in these areas. Furthermore, she is keen on debating and in her dreams of a better future, which she hopes to realise through her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Oleksandra Klochko

Oleksandra is a graduate of International Economic Relations from Університет імені Альфреда Нобеля (Alfred Nobel University). She is a project writer in a Ukrainian NGO which specialises in non-formal education for youth where she demonstrates her belief in the power of education. Oleksandra believes that a person must be versatile in the rapidly changing world hence she never ceases to participate in activities devoted to a variety of topics such as international relations, economics, politics, culture, crafts, mental health and well-being. Oleksandra looks forward to bringing her passion for continued learning to the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Ariel is a young professional having read law at both Національний університет “Києво-Могилянська академія” (National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”) and the University of Vienna, where he specialised in European and International Business Law. Ariel now works as a Legal Assistant, focusing on compliance, contract preparation, and advisory services. Ariel believes that his diverse skills and commitment to excellence will contribute to Ukraine’s integration into the European Union. Besides his career aspirations, Ariel loves history, visiting museums and travelling.

Mariam holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specialising in Artificial Intelligence, from the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko), where she was a member of the Educational Department of the Student Parliament. She is currently engaged in an internship as a strategist at an investment bank in London. Mariam believes that international cooperation can be highly beneficial for all parties involved, in the same way that interdisciplinary research can bring about new valuable ideas.

Olena Hurkina

Olena is studying Mathematics at Харківський національний університет іменi В.Н. Каразіна (Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin). She has written four scientific papers and has participated in many other scientific activities and projects. Olena is currently also working as a teacher, which has fostered a burning desire to improve the education system in her country. Thanks to the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative, Olena believes she is going to make the world a better place!
