Hayley is currently in her second year of studying European Social and Political Studies at University College London. Her specialism in Hungarian and History has sparked a particular interest in linguistics and the ways this can inform discourse in history and politics. With Hungarian and Australian heritage, Hayley has been fortunate to experience the benefits of the European Union from both inside and outside of its borders. She is passionate about social mobility and providing opportunities to others through her own volunteering efforts.

Elsie is originally from Scotland, where she has just completed a Master’s degree in Gender Studies. Her interests lie in tackling social injustice, promoting inclusivity, and amplifying voices. In her spare time, Elsie enjoys discovering new recipes, reading, or spending time in nature. Alongside her studies, she is a Junior Editor-in-Chief of The New Federalists, the webzine for the Young European Federalists (JEF Europe).

Freya is originally from Wales, United Kingdom but was raised in Massachusetts, United States of America. She currently resides in London and is studying for a Master’s degree in Russian and Eurasian Politics from University College London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies (UCL SSEES), where she previously obtained a Bachelor degree in History, Politics, and Economics. Freya has a passion for political science research involving Post-Soviet politics, foreign policy, and social issues including the treatment of LGBTQIA+ people, particularly women. This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
