Anna is from Izyum, and is currently enjoying her gap year, working as an ESC volunteer in Finland in a school and youth house. She enjoys teaching and working with children. Anna is highly interested in history, politics, and learning languages. She considers herself an active citizen and looks forward to rebuilding Ukraine when she is able to return from the volunteering program.

Sofiia is a student of International Relations and Philology at the Львівський національний університет імені Івана Франка (Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko). Aside from her studies, she organises charity literature and acoustic evenings and leads the PR&Media Committee of the International Relations Student Council. Mariana Shapovalova

Mariana is studying for a Bachelor degree at the Faculty of Electronics of the Національний технічний університет України “Київський політехнічний інститут імені Ігоря Сікорського” (National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”). She is also interested in history, learning languages, law, and international relations. Mariana has taken part in law and history research conferences and is actively engaged in local volunteer programs. She is a passionate individual who is ready to work and support the promotion of European values in her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Dariia Semenova

Dariia is in her third year of medical studies and is currently residing in Ukraine. She is a part of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA), where she is a project coordinator. Daria is currently an intern at the Lviv Department of Health, but has also spent time as an exchange student in the USA in a program sponsored by American Councils – FLEX.

Sofiia-Mariia Prokopiv

Sofiia-Mariia Prokopiv is a first-year international relations student at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. She leads an active social life and always wants to make a useful contribution to society and help to solve environmental problems. She is a volunteer of the international organisation «Malteser», where is conducted different support and help to orphans and disabled people. In addition, she is a member of the international organisation ”Aiesec” in the corner “Outgoing Global Teacher”. She is an activist of the organisation ”Ukrainian Students for Freedom”. She has already participated in youth projects Erasmus+ abroad.

Neil Predmestnikov

Neil is working towards a Master of Arts in International Relations at the University of Warsaw. He has already managed to implement a number of international projects, and considers himself to be a specialist in communications and event management at public and private levels. Neil looks forward to bringing his experience to his role as a Young European Ambassador.

Polina Pienkina

Polina is currently studying international relations at the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko), but is also an exchange student at the University of Erlangen — Nuremberg. She is passionate about world politics and especially interested in the process of European integration. Polina gained plenty of experience by both studying and working in an international environment, which led to her standing firmly by the principles of diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities.

Bohdan Pasichnyk

Bohdan is in his third year of studies at the Національний медичний університет iменi О.О. Богомольця (National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets), while also fulfilling the roles of Head of the Fastiv Youth Council, delegate of Ukrainian association of Youth Council and a member of Executive committee of Fastiv Сity Сouncil. His mission is to strengthen youth participation in local and regional life and to provide integration of Ukrainian youth into the European Union. Bohdan adds the role of Young European Ambassador to his responsibilities.

Sofiia Panchenko

Sofia was born in the city of Poltava and is now a student of the 11th grade at the lyceum. She is interested in personal development and studying the culture of other countries. She recently participated in the spring session of Euroschool, as well as in the summer offline Euroschool, which led to her vested interest in the work of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative. Sofiia is passionate about culture, history and law, and her goal is to work for the good of her country.

Marta Mysiahina

  • Current residence: Kharkiv, Ukraine
Marta is a senior high school student. She is also a deputy of the Kharkiv Youth City Council and sits on the committee on international cooperation. Marta is a project manager at the NGO “Public Diplomacy Platform.” She is interested in international relations and diplomacy and already represents Ukraine on the international level. The development of international youth cooperation is the central sphere of Marta’s current work. Marta is a graduate of Yale Young Global Scholars Program and Harvard Undergraduate International Relations Scholars Program, and looks forward to applying her experiences in the role of Young European Ambassador.

Sophia is in her second year of a Bachelor degree programme in International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies at the Національний технічний університет “Дніпровська політехніка” (National Technical University “Dniprovsk Polytechnic”). Her interests include volunteering, blogging, learning languages, travel, sport, reading psychology books, and completing medical courses. Sophia reads Czech, German and English, and is developing an interest in political science and the general political science of international relations of European countries. Bohdan is a student of International relations at Національний університет “Львівська політехніка” (National University “Lviv Polytechnic”). He is a flexible individual that enjoys developing his own skills and then sharing this knowledge with his peers. Tatiana is working towards her Bachelor degree in International Relations. Her studies have led to a growing interest in the European Union, and having completed Erasmus+ programs, Tatiana took up the role of Education Officer at the Erasmus Student Network.
