Mariam Sirakanyan

Mariam Sirakanyan is a 3rd year student, studying International Relations in Russian-Armenian University. Mariam was selected to become a Young European Ambassador in May, 2021,. In October 2020, she received a scholarship for participating in MUN, in Washington DC, and in November 2019, she took part in an international law competition with participants from other 13 countries in MITSO University.

Peri Mikayelyan

Peri is a young aspiring lawyer from Armenia. She has professional experience in both public and private sectors, as well as extensive volunteering and youth work experience. Peri holds Master’s degrees in investment treaty arbitration from Uppsala University, Sweden, and in international business law from University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France, and French University of Armenia.

Anna Mkrtchyan

Anna Mkrtchyan is Alumni of the Global Campus of Human Rights. She is a graduate of Yerevan State University holding a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization. As a human rights specialist, she is involved in the Armenian Civil Society aiming to ensure human rights protection and development in Armenia and the region. Currently, she holds the position of Grants Manager at Human Rights House Yerevan in the EU-funded project “COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability”. She also facilitates trainings in international human rights law, gender equality and human rights advocacy.

Raisa Soghomonyan

Raisa Soghomonyan studies Translation at the Shirak State University. She speaks 4 languages – Armenian, Russian, English and German. Raisa currently works as an English tutor at “Skyeng online school”. She also tudies TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) at Iimbibe skills and “Business Communication” at Business Development Group.

Tigran Minasyan

Tigran is a purposeful young man from Spitak, Lori region of Armenia. He claims to be full of energy to manage to fulfill his various goals and interests. Although his small town had very difficult moments in the past, and currently offers fewer opportunities to young people, Tigran believes that each person can bring about positive change to the life of Spitak. Tigran studies management at the French University of Armenia (UFAR). Volunteering is very important for Tigran, therefore, he didn’t hesitate to join EU4Youth Alumni Network activities at Spitak Youth House.

Kristine Karapetyan

Kristine is a civil journalist and a student in history at Yerevan State University. She is a graduate of the School of Democracy of the Armenian Institute for International Security. Now she is actively social activities. Besides, she volunteers in different organizations and from time to time gets enrolled in various courses in her fields of interest. Her areas of interests are EU-Armenia relations, educational opportunities, governance systems in EU countries.

Veronika Avtandilyan

Veronika Avtandilyan is currently studying at the Faculty of International Relations, Yerevan State University, Armenia. She is very interested in history, geography and foreign languages. She’s also very curious about environmental issues such as climate change, extreme meteorological phenomena and waste management. She has volunteered for various international and local events since 2017. She volunteered for Civil Consciousness NGO, Red Cross Society, World Congress on Information Technology, China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research etc.

Kristine Hovhannisyan

Kristine studied Cross-cultural communication and translation, she holds bachelor’s degree from the Bryusov State University of Yerevan (Armenia). In 2019 she won an exchange project held by APY NGO (Armenian Progressive Youth) and was given the opportunity to have an educational tour to Central European Universities where she developed her skills and most appropriately could express herself and represent her country from different platforms. In 2020, Christine was appointed by Young European Ambassadors to be a part of EU huge network. And from 2020 Kristine has been part of EU4Youth Alumni Network, where she is developing her skills in youth work.

Razmik Mnatsakanyan

Razmik obtained his bachelor degree from  the Armenian State University of Economics at the faculty of Accounting and Audit. Now he is an MSE student in American University of Armenia. It is already 8 years he has been actively involved in youth work. Having participated in a lot of study sessions, youth exchanges and other projects, he is the founder and president of “Uniting Bridge” NGO, founder of “Come To Oshakan” Youth Initiative and co-founder of “Thaza Tegh” social-innovative project. Since 2020 he is also an EU4Youth Alumnus from Armenia.

Anna Sargsyan

As a graduate of Erasmus Mundus Global Studies program , Anna had the privilege to study and work in Belgium, China, France, Poland and Armenia, and gain practical experience both in public, private and international organizations. In the scope of the Master’s degree program, she has had an exceptional opportunity to firsthand experience how European political systems work and to gain deep insights on the current political developments. Throughout past few years, she held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Project Coordinator at Transparency International and Regulatory Data Researcher at Polixis Armenia. Mariam Chiflikyan

Mariam Chiflikyan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the French University in Armenia. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Law at the American University of Armenia. Additionally, Mariam is an intern at the Office of the Human Rights Defender of the RA, Department of International Cooperation. The promotion of human rights, the rule of law and justice is a noble aspiration for her.

Gayane Ghaytmazyan

Hovhannes Yuqinyan

Hovhannes Yukinyan is a young journalist at the Media Academy of Public Television of Armenia. He studied at the Yerevan State University, Faculty of International Relations, Department of Public Administration> From time to time he also participated in political science courses. Hovhannes has volunteering experience  in many local and international organizations, is a member of student organizations, and since July 2020, he has joined the network of Young European Ambassadors.
