Kateryna Fadieieva

Kateryna is a first-year Bachelor degree student at Uniwersytet Jagielloński (Jagiellonian University) majoring in International Relations and Area Studies. She has been actively engaged in volunteering since 2019- having become a member of the Red Cross Team. Since then, she has participated in a variety of major projects and training. In April 2022, Kateryna was a member of the Ukrainian National Team in the Nordic Debate Championship in Copenhagen; she also visited Kosovo and Spain for training dedicated to the topic of human rights in the summer of 2022.

Sofiia Diachenko

Sofiia is a second-year student studying International law at the Institute of international relations at the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Currently, she is Vice-president of Professional Development and Director of Internal Management events at the European Law Students’ Association on local (Kyiv) and national levels (ELSA Ukraine). Aside from this, Sofiia is a trainee at a law firm in Kyiv and a participant in the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She is passionate about law, social activities, music, dancing, travelling, and hiking.

Kateryna Bosiachenko

Kateryna is from the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk (Eastern Ukraine). In 2014, with the beginning of Russia’s war of aggression, Kateryna and her family have been living in different cities in Ukraine. She works for the development of Ukrainian culture, creates projects with modern Ukrainian musicians and often helps the Ukrainian armed forces as a volunteer. Kateryna also creates projects for teenagers related to art, reflection on the war, social activism, and volunteering.

Sofiia Bohdanova

Sofiia was born in Luhansk, Ukraine. She is now a third-year student at Чернівецький національний університет імені Юрія Федьковича (Chernivtsi National University named after Yurij Fedkovich), majoring in International relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies. Sofiia was able to gain a diverse experience and did her expertise while volunteering for the “In God’s Hand” organisation. She has published several research papers concerning the cultural diplomacy of Ukraine and the crisis of the system of international relations and is motivated to promote intercultural dialogue and bridge the external world with Ukraine.

Mariia Arshynnikova

Mariia believes the best way to study is to practise, and is a debater, researcher of corruption, head of the NGO “Stay on top”, and co-founder of the project “15 steps to Ukrainian unity.” She runs her channel with educational opportunities for teens to make informal education accessible to a broad audience and works as an IT Assistant in a chain of cafe shops, digitising the business.

Dariia Andriunina

Dariia is a civil servant, but is also working towards a PhD in International Economic Relations at Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Dariia is also studying for a Master’s degree in Digital Governance Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана (Kyiv National Economics University named after Vadym Hetman). Dariia is also a holder of the RODOVID Scholarship. Dariia strives to do everything in her power to secure Ukraine’s victory against Russia’s war of aggression. She looks forward to being as useful as possible for Ukraine in the context of its post-war development.

Atyia Al-Hammud

Atyia is a first year undergraduate student of International Relations at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany, who is passionate about Policymaking and European Integration. She has taken part in a variety of projects and activities concerning international relations and activism, such as the Center of Applied Nonviolent Actions Academy 2022. Nowadays, she is involved in volunteering and organising educational events for students in Ukraine and Germany. Her interests also include journalism and writing articles about global politics. Atyia speaks Ukrainian, English, Arabic, Turkish, and Russian and has an intermediate level in German.

Vladislav Lutencu

Vladislav, who currently studies Law in Chisinau, is passionate about volunteering and is keen to work in the field of international relations in the near future. In 2022, he became Vice President for Academic Development of the European Law Students’ Association “ELSA” and a member of the Bringing Europeans Together Association “BETA” board. Vladislav enjoys public debates and believes in a European future for his country.

Vlada Pulbere

Vlada is a senior high-school student with interests in Information Technology. Having participated in the European School Summercamp in Georgia, Vlada discovered the importance of collaboration between Eastern Partnership (EaP) and the European Union, and is keen to promote European Values in Moldova. Being part of two IT organizations in Moldova, Vlada looks forward to a career in the field, and is always open to discovering new opportunities in order to discover her true self.

Vlad is an ambitious, focused and committed law student at Universitatea de Stat din Moldova (State University of Moldova), with a special interest in International, Civil and Criminal Law. He has participated in the Youth Parliament programme in Moldova and is currently involved in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (30th Edition). Vlad is open to opportunities, projects, and competitions where he may develop his understanding. Besides personal development, he is looking forward to promoting human rights, liberties and EU values among the youth of the Republic of Moldova.

Victor Nicolaescu

Victor is a senior high school student at “Virgil Madgearu” Economic High School in Bucharest. He is outgoing, persuasive, hardworking and ready to take risks to achieve success. Throughout his high school years, Victor has participated in a number of Erasmus+ projects which have served to deepen his interest in the European Union and contribute to his affinity for sharing such opportunities with his peers. He was a vice-president of the Bucharest Students Council where he advocated for the rights of over 300,000 high school students and strived towards creating a more friendly and comfortable environment for other Moldovan students in Bucharest. Valentin graduated from the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance in 2021, majoring in “Business Planning and Administration”. Sofia is a high school student in Chișinău, Moldova. She is passionate about history and protecting human rights. Sofia is currently volunteering at the Municipal Youth Center and also participated in the Moldova Model United Nations MDMUN 2022 conference. Her main purpose is to inform the youth in her community about the concepts and values of the European Union.
