Usevalad Lahun

Usevalad is a young civic activist and a student at European Humanities University and Vytautas Magnus University. He took part many times in various EU initiatives, the Philoxenia camp (Genk, Belgium) and European Youth Event (Varazdin, Croatia) are the last of them. He volunteered in local communities (in events and conferences that his university organized) and international level, for example, helping refugees from Polish and Slovak camps. Usevalad hopes to get practical soft and hard skills via the EYA programme that will help them to cooperate with people around Europe and shape their future careers.

Darya Mikalayeva

In 2021 Darya won an EU-funded EaP scholarship to study International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at New School International School in Georgia, Tbilisi. She also was a participant in European School Summer Camp in August 2021. At school, she studies different subjects, but her favourite ones are Global Politics and Economics, as they express her topics of interest in the best way. After finishing IB, Darya is planning to go to a university in Europe and study Global Humanities there. She speaks 4 languages (English, Belarusian, Polish and Russian), learns Georgian and does sports in her free time.

Darya Mikhalka

Darya is a third-year student at the University of Warsaw in the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies. Her major is European Politics and Economics and Darya is really passionate about what she studies. Darya graduated in 2023 and after almost three years of study, she became a representative of her faculty and also became a recipient of the rector’s scholarship for academic success.

Roman Birun

Roman Birun is currently studying International Law and European Union law at European Humanities University and Intercultural Communication at Minsk State Linguistic University. He spent more than a year and a half at AIESEC (first as OGX Team Manager and later as MC Manager). Roma desires to contribute to improving the lives of people in the society and to draw people’s attention to such important things as the environment, human rights and many others.

Dziana Kapusta

Dziana Kapusta studied Geography at the Belarusian State University and Management at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. She is now applying for a master’s degree. Meanwhile, she works as a Learning and Development Specialist and helps deploy and implement education programs for companies in the private sector. Outside of this area, she is also interested in topics such as climate change and design and participates in debates and cultural events related to these areas. Viyaleta Volkava

Viyaleta is an international development practitioner and youth advocate with an undergraduate degree in intercultural communications from Minsk State Linguistic University currently reading for her Master’s degree in public policy from European Humanities University in Vilnius, Lithuania. She brings in a unique combination of policy, on the ground and private sector work experience. At UN Migration Agency (IOM), Viyaleta is leading the reintegration component of IOM counter trafficking operations assisting human trafficking survivors, while working on broader migration and development policy issues. She advocates for youth empowerment serving as a Young European Ambassador in Belarus.

Alena Dudkova

  • Current residence: Belgium, Brussels
Alena is a young professional and a graduate of the Belorussian State University, specialised in World Economics and currently working as an analyst. She examined deeply the EU, its institutions and their important functions thanks to her successful accomplishment of the course “Educate yourself on Europe” in 2018. Alena tries to dedicate her free time to volunteering. She spent almost 2 years within AIESEC organization as a manager in the department of outgoing exchanges. Alena is proud to be a Young European Ambassador, and she wants to share European values in her country, to solve the current challenges and to find like-minded young people.

Pavel Palubinski

Pavel Palubinski received a scholarship to study Intercultural Communication at the State Economic University (Minsk) where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation. He also holds a Master’s degree in Philology from the State Linguistic University (Minsk). Since 2017, he has been engaged in teaching, translation and interpretation for the state higher education establishments where he has been carrying out such youth-related projects as knowledge-sharing sessions on the best practices of the European Union which can be implemented in Belarus. Katsiaryna Shafranovich

Katsiaryna graduated from European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania) where she studied International law and European Union law. She loves everything related to the EU and has taken part in dozens of educational activities all over Europe, including her semester abroad with Erasmus+ in Porto, Portugal.
