Jules Bigot

Currently on Erasmus in Prague for his third year of the Bachelor’s degree, Jules Bigot studies at SciencesPo Paris and specializes in the European Union and Central and Eastern Europe. Having grown up in a very European environment in Brussels, Jules has always been driven by the desire to meet new people and talk about Europe. That is why he got involved in various EU-related initiatives such as This Time I’m Voting, JEF Europe, Le Taurillon, Europe Direct and now the Young European Ambassadors initiative.

Bernardo Maranha

Bernardo is finishing his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. During his studies, he developed an interest in the EU, security, and Eastern Europe. His Erasmus+ experience at Leuven University deepened his passion for these topics. He is also a member of BETA Portugal and BETA Europe, NGOs that simulate the European decision-making process.

Kristof Van den Branden

Kristof holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and is currently getting a Joint Master Degree in Sustainable Territorial Development. With roots in Eastern Europe and two Erasmus experiences, an interest in all cultures does not have to be proven. As a YEA, he wants to use his experience in various voluntary organizations to improve the future of the EU and its neighbours.

Paulius Jakubčionis

Paulius is a high school student from Lithuania. For the third year in a row, Paulius is actively involved in social and civic activities. Working on communication, youth policy and youth affairs, international affairs is not new to Paulius. Nicole Rikert

Nicole Rikert is currently studying International Relations in her third Bachelor’s year in Dresden. She speaks fluently German, English, French and Russian, and likes it to talk to people in their native language if possible. Rose Antonia Dahl

Rose Dahl is an international student of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme from Germany. She is currently involved in several activities, such as guiding international exchange students through their programmes, participating in Model United Nations Conferences and volunteering as a journalist for a local newspaper.

Lynn Dascha Engelhardt

Lynn Dascha is a high school graduate of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. She is 17 years old. Notwithstanding her young age, she has successfully participated in many competitions and volunteers in several organizations that lie close to her heart. In 2022, she will spend one year abroad in Russia, after which she will initiate her university studies in the UK. Lynn Dascha enjoys playing the piano, dancing ballet and particularly engages herself in promoting democratic values, gender equality and access to education.

Justin Treutlein

Justin Treutlein is a young professional working in the mobility research while finishing his Master in Economic Geography, Mobility and Spatial Development Policy (M.Sc.). In 2015, he voluntarily started working as a youth ambassador for an NGO trying to raise awareness of and fight against extreme poverty and women’s rights around the globe. Moreover, since 2017, he has been a Young European Professional (YEP) multiplicator bringing the EU and its policies into schools. During his Bachelor studies in Governance and Public Policy, he focused on the EU and the EaP. Therefore, he did research and published papers on the EU relations with Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus.

Tanguy Martignolles

After having studied political science for three years at Sciences Po Lyon (France), Tanguy is a current Erasmus Mundus Master’s candidate in Central & East European, Russian & Eurasian Studies at the Universities of Tartu and Glasgow. During his studies, Tanguy had the opportunity to do an exchange semester at the Higher School of Economics of Moscow (online due to the Covid-19 pandemic) and to complete an Erasmus exchange at the University of Vilnius in Lithuania. Tanghi le Peuvédic

Originally from France, Tanghi le Peuvédic is currently studying in Italy. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in History of Arts at the École du Louvre (Paris), he decided to broaden the scope of his knowledge by following a program of Master’s in Public and Cultural Diplomacy at the University of Siena. In order to understand the functioning of the European Union, he acted as a Minister during the 2021 session of Model European Union in October. Passionate about international relations and the EU, Tanghi joined the EaP initiative to put into practice his academic knowledge and to pursue his commitment toward a better future.

Ambroise Lescop

Ambroise Lescop is a graduate with two Master’s degrees in political sciences and international relationships. Since secondary school, he has been following a binational curriculum, obtaining a German and a French baccalaureate. He afterwards studied at the Universities of Bordeaux (France) and Stuttgart (Germany). Passionate about languages, he attended different language classes. His other interests include history, geography, and international relationships. Because of family roots, Ambroise is particularly interested in the politics, culture, and history of Central and Eastern Europe. Ambroise is now planning on writing a PhD thesis.

Bilyana Yadkova

Bilyana Yadkova is a last-year student of a double Bachelor’s degree in East and Middle East European Studies and Political Studies at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Currently, she is writing her bachelor’s thesis about terrorism and the second war in Chechnya. Bilyana is extremely interested in the EU and EU Policies but also in Western-Eastern Europe relations. In 2021, she took part in a prestigious Simulation of the EU – Model European Union Strasbourg where she had a chance to see how the EU and its institutions work and also to make a lot of connections and friendships.

Rauf Barkhoudarov

Rauf Barkhoudarov is a second-year student of Bachelor’s degree in Law in Leuven. He follows his studies in Dutch and English. He was born in Belgium and grew up in Leuven. He speaks English, Dutch, French, Azerbaijani, and Turkish. His origin is Azerbaijani. He is interested in many different projects of the Young European Ambassadors. He is also motivated to participate in the YEAs initiative because through cooperation it raises awareness in the East European region. We have to find for our future. Maral Kaplan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in International Relations. Domonkos D. Kovacs

Domonkos D. Kovacs is a final year student at the University of Cambridge, reading History and Russian. He aspires to work in foreign policy and diplomacy for the European Union. His research interests include geopolitics and geopolitical risks, European and Russian foreign policy, cyber security, disinformation, and asymmetric warfare. He is the Co-Founder and President of the University of Cambridge Society for Geopolitical Risk. He acts as the Deputy Director of Publications for European Horizons, a global student-led think tank. He worked for multiple leading Hungarian think tanks, researching foreign policy.
