Javid Balamammadov

Javid is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economic Analysis at Corvinus University of Budapest. He completed his Bachelor degree in Economics at Istanbul University. Christos has obtained a Bachelor degree in Political Sciences from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Due to his strong interest in public service, global politics, and European integration, he actively participated in various organizations such as the Municipal Youth Council, the MUN Society, the Debate Society of Thessaloniki, and the JEF Thessaloniki. Additionally, he has been invited to speak at both national and international conferences, served as the President of the Rotaract Club of Thessaloniki, and was honored with the Distinguished Offer Award. Shamsi, currently studying Electrical Engineering and IT at RWTH Aachen University, is a dedicated advocate for cross-cultural collaboration and diversity. With accumulated experience in roles as the Vice Chairperson of External Affairs at EESTEC LC Aachen and as an advisory member of AV (Representation of Foreign Students) at RWTH Aachen, Shamsi has honed skills in organising events and supporting international students. As a Microsoft Learn program ambassador, Shamsi is passionate about technology and education. Marie-Therese Timpe

Marie-Therese grew up in northern Germany and is now studying Political Science in Nancy, France. She is currently completing an Erasmus+ exchange in Istanbul. She has been involved with different non-profit organisations, including one working against inequality in access to education. Passionate about European affairs, she has developed a particular interest in the Eastern Neighbourhood and is now looking forward to actively putting this interest into practice as a Young European Ambassador.

Mahammad Nahmadov

Mahammad is an Azerbaijani student, researcher, and educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from “ADA”Universiteti (“ADA” University), Azerbaijan. Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Data and Computer Science at Heidelberg University, Germany, as a DAAD Scholar. His academic journey features impactful research and teaching experiences at ADA University and Koç University. As a Young European Ambassador, he aims to delve into his research areas, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence, exploring its development within the EU and exchanging ideas with fellow Ambassadors.

Lia Sophie Hamel

Lia is studying Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science at Lund University in Sweden. She has years of experience in youth work and volunteering for environmental organisations. Currently, Lia is active in the corporate relations committee of her university and represents Amnesty International Lund in the student council. Lia is particularly interested in international relations, LGBTQ rights, and sustainable development. She looks forward to applying her experiences to her new role as a Young European Ambassador.

As a dedicated individual, he actively participates in multiple NGOs, demonstrating strong organisational skills in coordinating large-scale events. His passion for law and diplomacy is evident, and he has notably received an award for outstanding contribution at the 22nd Model European Parliament of Austria. Fluent in five languages—German, Czech, English, Spanish, and Russian—he possesses a diverse linguistic proficiency. Sanjivani is currently studying Spanish Law and International Relations at the Universidad de Navarra (University of Navarra). She has always been amazed by Europe and the EU, and became involved as soon as she could. Sanjivani was initially part of the youth Parliament of Navarra, and later the European Youth Parliament. However, she wanted to take it to the next level, and therefore applied this year to become a Young European Ambassador.

Pablo is studying Political Science and Geography as a Joint Honours Degree at The University of Galway, Ireland.
