Sofiia is a student at the United World College Red Cross Nordic (UWC RCN) in Norway, where she lives and studies with 205 young people from 90+ countries. She joined the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative in November 2022 and is currently a mentor for new ambassadors. Sofiia is passionate about gender studies, global politics, maths, and art. She spends most of her free time volunteering and enjoys participating in projects that aim to share knowledge, values, and experience, and make this world a bit better in the process.

Anna is from Donetsk, Ukraine, and is passionate about working with other teenagers and creating a diverse community. Anna enjoys Psychology, Global Politics and Geography classes. It helped her with a better understanding of diversity and how beautiful people are when united. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, French and German, and brings a modern and progressive outlook to the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Anastasiia is a graduate of the Institute of International Relations, Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Since the beginning of her studies, Anastasiia has been passionate about diplomacy and international economic relations, and aimed to achieve the best results in her chosen professional field. Kateryna is a first-year Bachelor degree student at Uniwersytet Jagielloński (Jagiellonian University) majoring in International Relations and Area Studies. She has been actively engaged in volunteering since 2019- having become a member of the Red Cross Team. Since then, she has participated in a variety of major projects and training. In April 2022, Kateryna was a member of the Ukrainian National Team in the Nordic Debate Championship in Copenhagen; she also visited Kosovo and Spain for training dedicated to the topic of human rights in the summer of 2022.

Sofiia is a second-year student studying International law at the Institute of international relations at the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Currently, she is Vice-president of Professional Development and Director of Internal Management events at the European Law Students’ Association on local (Kyiv) and national levels (ELSA Ukraine). Aside from this, Sofiia is a trainee at a law firm in Kyiv and a participant in the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She is passionate about law, social activities, music, dancing, travelling, and hiking.

Kateryna is from the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk (Eastern Ukraine). In 2014, with the beginning of Russia’s war of aggression, Kateryna and her family have been living in different cities in Ukraine. She works for the development of Ukrainian culture, creates projects with modern Ukrainian musicians and often helps the Ukrainian armed forces as a volunteer. Kateryna also creates projects for teenagers related to art, reflection on the war, social activism, and volunteering.

Sofiia was born in Luhansk, Ukraine. She is now a third-year student at Чернівецький національний університет імені Юрія Федьковича (Chernivtsi National University named after Yurij Fedkovich), majoring in International relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies. Sofiia was able to gain a diverse experience and did her expertise while volunteering for the “In God’s Hand” organisation. She has published several research papers concerning the cultural diplomacy of Ukraine and the crisis of the system of international relations and is motivated to promote intercultural dialogue and bridge the external world with Ukraine.

Mariia believes the best way to study is to practise, and is a debater, researcher of corruption, head of the NGO “Stay on top”, and co-founder of the project “15 steps to Ukrainian unity.” She runs her channel with educational opportunities for teens to make informal education accessible to a broad audience and works as an IT Assistant in a chain of cafe shops, digitising the business.

Dariia is a civil servant, but is also working towards a PhD in International Economic Relations at Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Dariia is also studying for a Master’s degree in Digital Governance Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана (Kyiv National Economics University named after Vadym Hetman). Dariia is also a holder of the RODOVID Scholarship. Dariia strives to do everything in her power to secure Ukraine’s victory against Russia’s war of aggression. She looks forward to being as useful as possible for Ukraine in the context of its post-war development.

Atyia is a first year undergraduate student of International Relations at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany, who is passionate about Policymaking and European Integration. She has taken part in a variety of projects and activities concerning international relations and activism, such as the Center of Applied Nonviolent Actions Academy 2022. Nowadays, she is involved in volunteering and organising educational events for students in Ukraine and Germany. Her interests also include journalism and writing articles about global politics. Atyia speaks Ukrainian, English, Arabic, Turkish, and Russian and has an intermediate level in German.

Karolina studies International Relations through English medium of instruction in Poland. She is experienced in volunteering, project management, public speaking, and journalism. Since she was 13 years old, Karolina has been an active citizen, making changes in her community. Even now, living abroad, she continues to implement a variety of projects as a part of her university’s student government. Karolina is looking forward to new and exciting opportunities in her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Yuliia is a fourth-year Bachelor of Law student at the Національний технічний університет України “Київський політехнічний інститут імені Ігоря Сікорського” (National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”). She actively participates in volunteer projects, legal events and initiatives, at the local, national and international levels in various non-governmental organisations. She is a member of the Student League of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Yuliia is studying at the Faculty of International Relations at Національний університет “Львівська політехніка” (National University “Lviv Polytechnic”). She has well-developed organisational and communication skills. Nowadays, she is a member of the scientific society of students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists of IHSS. Yuliia was born and raised in a small town but has always had big ambitions. At school she took part in a variety of European projects. Yulia has always been interested in policy and law-making processes, which led to her enrolment at Національний юридичний університет імені Ярослава Мудрого (National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise). Yulia is actively engaged in civic activity, and is a representative of Student’s Ombudsman at the University and a member of Kharkiv UBA Students League where she organises events for law students to develop their skills. Yuliia believes that every voice is powerful in building a strong and successful society.

Yuliia is currently in her second year of law studies, having also read mathematics at university level. She is really passionate about moot court competitions and anti-corruption. Besides this, Yuliia is a Vice-president in charge of Academic Activities and an MCC brand Developer in the European Law Student’s Association where she arranges events for young lawyers and students to improve their skills. Additionally, Yuliia is an active individual and enjoys hobbies such as playing the piano, painting, baking and photography.
