Sofiia is a high school student from a small Ukrainian city. She is a member of the school’s self-government and an active volunteer at the local Voluntary Service. Being a multifaceted person, her interests include maths, literature, photography, and dancing, also Sofiia has a musical education and plays the guitar and ukulele. While half-year living in a Spanish host family, she started learning Spanish. Moreover, currently, she is working on an educational project for teenagers who are willing to practice English, Spanish and German with natives. She is interested in topics of gender equality, animal protection and the educational process. Sofiia believes that only through teamwork the nation could build a strong society and country. Her credo is “Take it easy and always be brave”.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
