European Solidarity Corps: long-term volunteering in Greek Catholic community in Slovakia


The Greek-Catholic Roma Mission, a Christian Catholic NGO, based near Prešov, Slovakia, is looking for volunteers, including from Ukraine, for long-term (one year, six months or three months) volunteering in a period from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027.

The NGO invites young people aged 18-30, preferably those who have a positive attitude to Christianity and are willing to share those values among young people, especially Roma people. The candidate should be capable of working with young people, to lead a small Christian group and help to organise and prepare events. Also, the organisers are looking for someone who has skills to create posters, videos, and graphics in general. 

Applicants should have at least communication level in English. Previous volunteer experience and experience in work with children, young people or social work is welcomed.

Volunteers will be provided with accommodation, as well as pocket money and money for food.

The deadline for applications is 29 January.
