Apply Girls Leadership and Volunteering Forum 4.0 – open to girls across Ukraine

The ‘Women’s League’ non-governmental organisation has opened applications for the Girls Leadership and Volunteering Forum 4.0 (GLVF 4.0), a nationwide educational programme for girls aged 14–17. The initiative is designed to foster responsible leadership, promote volunteering among teenage girls, and support the development of local youth initiatives.

GLVF 4.0 is a space where participants will explore leadership and volunteering through the lens of responsibility—to themselves and to others. They will gain new knowledge and practical skills, connect with like-minded peers from across Ukraine, exchange experiences, and receive support in turning their ideas into meaningful community initiatives.

The programme will include online and offline training and a practical part. Online training will be held on 3–9 August 2026 and will consist of five educational sessions and two informational meetings. Following the online stage, 50 participants who complete the programme successfully will be selected to attend the three-day forum in Lviv, to be held on 28–30 August 2026.

When selecting participants for the offline component, the organisers will seek balanced regional representation. Priority will be given to girls from small towns and rural communities, as well as those belonging to vulnerable groups.

Participation in all components of the programme is free of charge.

The initiative is organised by the ‘Women’s League’ NGO, which launched its first academies in various fields as part of the ‘EU4Youth Alumni Network’ programme, with the support of the European Union. The Forum is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
