Financed by the European Union and the German government, the ‘EU4ITD – Catalysing Economic and Social Life’ (CESL) project is looking for ideas to improve people’s livelihoods in Georgian regions.
The proposed ideas should help to reduce external migration to Tbilisi, identify gaps in value chains that are regional in scale or location specific, and thus stimulate or increase local income by activating untapped economic potential.
The call is open to any non-governmental legal person, both registered and operating in Guria, Imereti, Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Racha, Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, Samstkhe-Javakheti, and Shida Kartli.
The grant request should fall between 75,000 and 225,000 Georgian Lari.
The deadline for applications is 31 May 2025.
The project is implemented by GIZ in the framework of the national initiative, the Pilot Integrated Regional Development Programme.
