The European Commission is launching a new call as part of its Creative Europe Programme for innovative cross-border media literacy projects. Applications will be accepted from 23 October 2025 until 11 March 2026.
Projects should promote effective cross-border cooperation and media literacy skills through innovative solutions, leading to societal resilience to disinformation and manipulation of information among Europeans.
The call for proposals has been launched under the cross-sectoral strand of the Creative Europe Programme, which is open to Georgia and Ukraine.
The available budget is €3 million. Each project can apply for up to €500,000 for a maximum period of two years. The maximum co-financing rate is 70% of the total eligible costs. This means that applicants need to co-finance their projects.
The call is open to consortia composed of at least three entities from a minimum of three different countries participating in the Creative Europe programme cross-sectoral strand. These consortia may include profit and/or non-profit organisations, whether private or public, such as public authorities (national, regional, local), international organisations, universities and educational institutions, media organisations, research and technology institutions, technology providers, etc.
For more details, join the info session on 3 December 2025, 10:00-12:00 (Brussels time). No registration needed.
