Ukraine: Two-day training ‘EU: Simply about complex. Kropyvnytskyy’

The EU Delegation to Ukraine invites regional media representatives from across Ukraine to participate in the two-day training ‘EU: Simply about Complicated. Kropyvnytskyy’.

The activity will take place on 9-10 July in Kropyvnytskyy (offline).

During the two-day training, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • learn more about Ukraine’s path towards EU membership, the negotiation process, reforms, and related topics;
  • gain an overview of the history and structure of the European Union, its decision-making mechanisms and core values;
  • learn more about EU programmes in Ukraine, their role and functions;
  • explore the comprehensive support provided by the EU to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion;
  • learn about EU-funded projects in Kyiv and the Kropyvnytskyy region and visit some of them.

Among the speakers are high-level EU officials and experts on EU issues and European integration.

The deadline for registration is 30 June, 20:00.

Successful candidates will receive confirmation by email, together with the programme and other organisational details, by 2 July.

The EU will cover travel, food, and accommodation expenses for participants from other cities. Based on the training results, a certificate that confirms the successful completion of the training will be issued.
