The Energy Community Secretariat has announced the 10th edition of the Energy Community Summer School, taking place from 22 to 29 August 2026 at Polis University in Tirana, Albania.
Designed for postgraduate students, researchers, and early-career professionals, the Summer School offers an in-depth exploration of the technical, economic, legal, political, and sustainability dimensions of the energy transition — including energy systems, markets, and geopolitics.
The academic programme is complemented by a strong cultural component, offering first-hand insight into the energy realities of Albania and the wider Energy Community.
The Energy Community Secretariat covers all programme-related costs, including lectures, accommodation, excursions, and most meals. The only expense for selected participants is the travel cost to and from their hometown or duty station and the Summer School venue.
A maximum of 40 participants will be selected to attend the Summer School.
The applicants must be under 35 years of age at the time of the Summer School (born in 1991 or later); fluent in written and spoken English; be a citizen of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine or other eligible countries.
The deadline for applications is 31 March.
