Umman is a student of International Studies at “ADA”Universiteti (“ADA” University). In 2019, she spent a semester studying International Relations at the School of International Service of American University in Washington D.C. Umman is also active in student life, serving as an Under-Secretary-General at “ADA” University’s Model United Nations club, as well as being the Chief of Staff at the Undergraduate Student Government. Along with her studies, she works as a Research Assistant at a satellite operating company, where she studies the ongoing innovations in the industry in Azerbaijan and the world. In her free time, she likes to volunteer for her community, which currently happens under the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative. Umman is driven by the idea of contributing to the change towards a better future in her country and beyond.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
