Aygun Talibova is a holder of the MD degree with distinction/first-class honours and a former SDG3 (Good Health and Well-Being) Youth Ambassador in Azerbaijan. Karolina studies International Relations through English medium of instruction in Poland. She is experienced in volunteering, project management, public speaking, and journalism. Since she was 13 years old, Karolina has been an active citizen, making changes in her community. Even now, living abroad, she continues to implement a variety of projects as a part of her university’s student government. Karolina is looking forward to new and exciting opportunities in her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Kristof holds a Bachelor degree in Geography and is currently working towards a Joint Master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development. With roots in Eastern Europe and two Erasmus experiences, Kristof is fascinated by all cultures. He looks forward to utilising his experiences in a variety of voluntary organisations to improve the future of the European Union and its neighbours. Paulius is a public activist, with great experience in international organisations, in domestic policy communication, and in the formulation of political strategies. Currently, Paulius is the Coordinator for the Baltic States Group and takes care and ensures that direct communication with Eastern European countries and the Baltic states continues to improve. Ambroise is a graduate with two Master’s degrees in Political Sciences and International Relations. At secondary school, Ambroise followed a binational curriculum, obtaining a German and a French baccalaureate. He went on to study at the Universities of Bordeaux (France) and Stuttgart (Germany). Passionate about languages, Ambroise attended a variety of language classes, while his other interests include history, geography, and international relations. Courtesy of familial roots, Ambroise is particularly interested in the politics, culture, and history of Central and Eastern Europe. He is now planning on writing a PhD thesis.

Maral holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Relations. Valeria is a high school student at Spiru Haret High School. Young, hardworking and motivated, she is ready to utilise her voice to effect positive change. Valeria has participated in multiple projects organized by the Goethe-Institut in Germany. She is an active volunteer and is truly concerned with the challenges her country faces, and particularly those relevant to young people. She believes this generation can bring a lot of prosperity and is ready to evidence this.

Maxim is currently studying international relations and political studies. He is particularly interested in soft power critique and Eastern philosophy. After graduating from high school, Maxim spent a gap year in Vietnam where he was an intern and teaching assistant at an educational centre for primary and elementary school students. However, he has also been involved in NGOs promoting democracy and human rights in his country, and in 2018, he completed a Short Term European Voluntary Service (ST-EVS) project in Cagliari, Sardinia.

Ravana is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Regional Studies (Great Britain) at the Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti (Azerbaijan University of Languages). Ravana has been working as a youth worker and youth leader for three years and has actively participated in various local and international events. She was a simulation games representative of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Ulviyya is a first-year student at the Faculty of Law of Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (Baku State University). She is also a member of the European Law Students Association (ELSA) and NAYORA Law Committee. At the same time, Ulviyya actively participates in the affairs of her university by being a member of the Fraternity Committee of Students organisation (THIK). During the summer of 2021, she also did an internship in a law firm called AMADE. Ulviyya is aiming to gain a Master’s degree in International Trade Law following her undergraduate studies.
