Maxim is currently studying international relations and political studies. He is particularly interested in soft power critique and Eastern philosophy. After graduating from high school, Maxim spent a gap year in Vietnam where he was an intern and teaching assistant at an educational centre for primary and elementary school students. However, he has also been involved in NGOs promoting democracy and human rights in his country, and in 2018, he completed a Short Term European Voluntary Service (ST-EVS) project in Cagliari, Sardinia.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
