Anghelina is a highly motivated high school student from Chisinau, most frequently described as a leader, team player and activist. Anghelina is interested and involved in video production, volunteering, diplomacy, philosophy, law and international relations. Andreea Pascaru

Andreea’s passion for learning new skills combined with her love for diversity and interculturality has motivated her to become a Young European Ambassador, in the hopes of continuing to contribute to her community in Moldova, even from abroad. She is currently studying Economics, History and Mathematics, and is planning to do an interdisciplinary EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Politics/Sociology/History. Andreea is also an avid reader.

Anastasia is currently studying at Taras Shevchenko State University, having graduated from college as a specialist in land and property relations. She then received a position as an engineer for technical inventory. Anastasia looking forward to a career in public administration upon completion of her university studies. She is interested in the environment, climate change and the current state of the economy, but is also engaged in volunteering and charity work. Anastasia dreams of attracting as many people as possible to engagement in this area.

By participating in marathons, events, and programs for youth, she promotes “healthy mind, healthy body.” She believes that it will be our generation that will effect positive change, and that’s why it’s important that people understand and consider themselves a part of the process of improving where we live, forming a more prosperous and safer society.

Ana is a determined high school student at “Aristotel” Lyceum in Chișinău. She has been engaged in multiple volunteering activities for three years and has co-founded a public association. Her main interests are political science, international relations, diplomacy, history, and the political participation of civil society. Ana genuinely believes that working towards international cooperation will result in a brighter future for everyone.

Vladislav Țerna

Vladislav is currently studying at the Center of Excellence in Economy and Finance. He looks forward to enrolling at university abroad, potentially in the Netherlands. In 2019, he became a volunteer and since 2021, he has been a co-leader of the public projects team at Centrul Republican pentru Copii și Tineret ARTICO (Republican Center for Children and Youth). Besides that, Vladislav is interested in politics, public administration, and engineering.

Jasmin is a high school student specialising in science but is also fluent in Arabic. She is interested in human rights and democracy, gender equality, and climate change. Jasmin believes that we need to have deep and meaningful dialogue to solve existing problems, and we must therefore improve young people’s skills to build a prosperous future.

Valeria Mihalachi

Valeria is a high school student at Spiru Haret High School. Young, hardworking and motivated, she is ready to utilise her voice to effect positive change. Valeria has participated in multiple projects organized by the Goethe-Institut in Germany. She is an active volunteer and is truly concerned with the challenges her country faces, and particularly those relevant to young people. She believes this generation can bring a lot of prosperity and is ready to evidence this.

Maxim Roșca

Maxim is currently studying international relations and political studies. He is particularly interested in soft power critique and Eastern philosophy. After graduating from high school, Maxim spent a gap year in Vietnam where he was an intern and teaching assistant at an educational centre for primary and elementary school students. However, he has also been involved in NGOs promoting democracy and human rights in his country, and in 2018, he completed a Short Term European Voluntary Service (ST-EVS) project in Cagliari, Sardinia.

She majors in International Relations and European Studies and is currently participating in an Erasmus exchange at Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem (ELTE) (Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary). Aside from his studies, he has been engaged in volunteering for four years and has showed an outstanding level of involvement and achievement in this field. Maxim participates in numerous activities at his university, though his main objective in terms of his political activity is to inform the citizens of the Republic of Moldova about European values.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
