Valeria is a young representative of Ungheni, who is currently an Architecture student in Timișoara, Romania. She is an artistic spirit having graduated from the School of Arts in Ungheni. She is a creative and sociable person who never fears new experiences. Valeria looks forward to pursuing her studies in collaboration with European countries and their specialists. Valeria is eager to get involved in new activities that will help her continuously grow and develop.

Gheorghe is a high-school student from Chișinău, though he has been working as a journalist at the National Television of Moldova for the last six years. He also participated in the Youth Parliament programme in Moldova. Gheorghe is excited to learn more about the world and become an engaged global citizen.

Daniela is hugely ambitious about her community. She takes everything she can from all of her experiences, from volunteering in local NGOs and taking part in valuable international youth exchanges on peer practice and leadership. Daniela is passionate about literature, cultural diversity, management, knowledge exchange, critical analysis, and politics. Her active involvement inspires her faith in our generation, and reminds her of Belinda’s “Heaven is a place on Earth”.

Dana is a coordinator at the AM Euroclub in Moldova. She is currently studying Law at Colegiul Pedagogic “Alexei Mateevici”, Chişinău (Pedagogical College “Alexei Mateevici”, Chisinau) where she is the President of the Student Council. Dana is actively involved in various extracurricular activities, and loves challenges and new opportunities. Her objective is to promote European values among young people in a step towards development, solidarity and mutual respect among the youth, freedom, and protection of human rights. Ana currently reads International Relations at the Universitatea de Stat din Moldova (State University of Moldova), pursuing her interests in international affairs, diplomacy and civic engagement. Besides taking part in a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities, Ana is a firm believer that it is necessary and fulfilling to be an active citizen, participate in various national and international projects, and engage in volunteer work, thus contributing to the improvement of the current state of our society.

Cătălina holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations awarded by the Uniwersytet Warszawski (University of Warsaw). She is currently enrolled on a Master’s degree program in Security and Strategic Studies at the same institution, and further engages with her subject area through participation in a variety of events such as the CyberSec Forum, the Warsaw Security Forum, while also being a member of the Women in International Security network. Recently she became a senior officer at the Moldovan National Focal Point Europol. Grigore is a high school student who has great goals and works to achieve them, while involving himself in society. After participating in the Model European Parliament, he gained an interest in politics that he intends to take through to his higher education studies. Believing that change comes through participation, Grigore’s volunteering has become a huge part of his life. He also enjoys reading, debating, and sports as well as trying new challenges. Most importantly, He has managed to shape a powerful personality ready for great things, and one day he will be proud of himself.

Nicu currently reads Political Science at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg (Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg). He was recently accepted as a new member of BETA Europe (Bringing Europeans Together Association) and as a member of the Volunteer Organization Rotaract both in Moldova and Germany. During his studies, he focusses mainly on international relations and comparative politics.

Alexandru is a 12th-grade student. He is interested in International Relations and Law and looks forward to continuing his studies at university level. For 2 years, Alex has been volunteering at several events and organisations for which he holds a volunteer card. Alex is excited about the opportunities to share EU values in the Republic of Moldova and hopes his country will change for the better thanks to the efforts of the YEAs initiative and its dynamic team members.

Claudia Sapojnic is currently a high school student in Chișinău. In 2019, she started to get involved in a variety of local and national volunteering projects and organisations. In 2020, she joined the Young European Ambassadors Initiative in the Republic of Moldova.

Adelina looks forward to enrolment at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (University of Groningen), Netherlands. While reading International Business, she continues to be a Young Ambassador advocating for Peace in Eastern Europe and Caucasus Initiative, a Ted Ed Club speaker, a councillor in a local organisation and an Erasmus+ enthusiast. Teodora is currently in her last year of high school. She has been involved in a variety of local volunteering projects, enjoying several coordinating roles. Teodora is currently the coordinator of the EU4Youth team of Young European Ambassadors in Moldova. She participated in MUNs, MEU and in a Youth Parliament programme in Moldova. She also took part in promoting Mission 1.5 of the United Nations Development Programme.  

With a strong belief in the potential and perspectives of Moldova, Maria Victoria has found her calling as a youth worker in NGOs aiming to empower young citizens to be involved in domestic affairs at the municipal level and be confident in their abilities. Education (under the form of programmes such as Wave Week Moldova) provides the youth with necessary tools to change the current fate of Moldovan democracy into one that is more aligned with European values. Loredena is a student at the “Spiru Haret” Lyceum in Chisinau, Moldova. She is passionate about languages, which have helped her to participate in various international summer camps organised by the Goethe-Institut in Germany (2019) and the Eastern Partnership in Georgia. Loredana has recently started debating and is already a member of the National Association of Academic Debates.

A young student in love with civic engagement, Marcel Rosca has been involved in different volunteering projects in Moldova for the past 4 years.
