Ilia Jakhaia

Ilia is studying for a Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering at Georgian Technical University. In 2021, with the support of the Erasmus+, he studied at the University of Tartu. He is a Member of the Youth Peace Network and the 16th element of the UN SDG. Since 2020 he has been a member of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Georgia, and since 2021 he has been a Member of the Youth Advisory Council of the Youth Agency of Georgia under the Ministry Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth, working on the youth policy document ‘Youth Strategy 2025’.

Giorgi Pachuashvili

Giorgi Pachuashvili is a Co-founder and President of the Civil Movement “Question Mark”, which spreads liberal values in Georgia. He has been ardently involved in volunteering since 2016 and civil activism since 2019. Giorgi studies International Relations at Tbilisi State University and is a graduate of SAYP Academy at Linköpings universitet (Linköping University). His main motivation is Georgia’s potential full membership in the European Union.

Giorgi is a secondary school student who has participated in numerous educational and environmental activities. He is also a European Summer School Camp alumnus. He has taken part in both national and international projects such as Erasmus+ and non-formal educational activities and he continues to do so, as he is actively involved in manifold events and working to establish a youth organisation in his hometown. Giorgi sees himself in technology as he would like to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) (The Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

Giorgi is currently studying for a Bachelor of International Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and has been actively involved in volunteering since 2015. As part of his studies, he is doing an Erasmus+ programme at Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave (Comenius University in Bratislava). Outside his studies, he is a youth worker at the non-formal education youth centre “Sunny House”, working with young people to help change their future for the better.

Eranui Yandyan

Eranui studies at the Ilia State University in Tbilisi. She is a curious young lady and believes that is we want to change lives, including our own, we are the ones to do it. She was an exchange student in the USA, which has developed her love of learning new things and helping others. She currently volunteers in the Ukrainian program “Helping to Leave”.

Elene Gureshidze

Elene is studying for a Bachelor in International Relations at the Free University of Tbilisi. She is an ardent volunteer and a passionate activist who is willing to make big changes in the Georgian community. Elene has worked with non-governmental organisations to protect democracy and gender equality. She has also participated in many local and international youth exchange projects funded by Erasmus+. As a young leader, Elene is motivated to initiate numerous projects focused on promoting European values to ensure Georgia’s successful Euro-Integration.

Daviti Khojenashvili

Davit is currently studying for a Law degree, and this year, he graduated from Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Political Academy. He is a member of the debate club at the law clinic, and he is actively involved in civic life. He believes that to improve the quality of living development of education, critical thinking and mutual relations will be key skills to expand, which is why he decided to join the Young European Ambassadors initiative.

Dachi Chikhashvili

Dachi is a young professional from Tbilisi, Georgia. He began his studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (IJTSU) and has also attended the Universität des Saarlandes (University of Saarland) in Germany as part of the Erasmus + programme offered by IJTSU. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Economical Science at Technische Universität Dresden (Technical University Dresden). While studying, Dachi also interns with DaMOst, an organisation focused on connecting migrants from Eastern Europe with resources at the federal level. He has a vested interest in the economic and political development of Eastern Europe along with its involvement in the EU and its allies.

Avtandil Svianadze

Avtandil Svianadze is a graduate student from Georgia involved in building a better future for Europe and contributing to sustainability. Avtandil has completed several research projects on sustainable development in Europe and neighbouring countries. He is studying EU sustainable development policy and working on applying it to the ENP-East region to improve energy security through research and innovation. He obtained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience while studying in Poland as an Erasmus+ exchange student at the Rzeszów University of Technology and being a part of the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD Democracy School). Ani Gogokhia

Ani is a secondary school student, passionate about learning political theory and international relations. She spends her free time taking online courses from Belgian universities on these topics, and she has started writing a sociological paper about the correlation between the political elite, civic society, and passive citizens. Ani is a follower of classical liberalism and thinks that these ideas should be cultivated in Georgia. She believes that the accession of her country to the European Union is vital for future development.

Anastasia Tsalugelashvili

Anastasia has recently graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a Bachelor of Honours in International Relations. During her studies, she participated in a bilateral exchange program and spent one semester at Univerzita Karlova v Praze (Charles University in Prague). She is also interested in disinformation and propaganda, and in 2022 she got 2nd place in the ‘Most Media Literate Youngster Competition’. Afterwards, she gained an internship at Myth Detector and published a few fact-checking articles on disinformation issues. Besides media literacy, her interests include civic activism, European studies, foreign affairs, and the NGO sector.

Anastasia Gvazava

Anastasia is currently studying Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her fields of interest include law, international law, diplomacy, and economy. In 2020, she was selected as a FLEX finalist and spent a year in the USA from 2021 to 2022. This helped develop her tolerance and responsibility, but mostly helped her realize, that “if you want to change the world for the better, it is crucial to start from yourself”. Ana Putkaradze

Ana is studying for a Bachelor in International Relations at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. She has also studied in the US at West Liberty University as part of an exchange programme. She has been actively involved in informal activities since she was very young and has many years of volunteering experience in various international and local organisations. At the moment, she is the coordinator of the European Solidarity Corps projects in Georgia and is actively trying to promote the importance of European values in Georgia together with other ambitious young people.

Ani is studying for a Bachelor in International Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She has always participated in volunteering and charity projects, as well as a variety of workshops. She is doing her best to help her community by engaging in different activities and raising awareness on important topics. She has been involved in local non-governmental organisation activities since she was very young, which highlight important civil issues. Ana Kereselidze

Ana is an International Relations student at Ilia State University, a FLEX 21-22 Alumna, and an intern at the American Councils Czech. Her responsibilities include reviewing documents, co-managing social media pages and coming up with new ideas and initiatives. She is very happy to be a Young European Ambassador and is grateful to be a part of this amazing team.
