Sesili is currently a secondary school student, with an affinity for Geography, History, Mathematics, Georgian and English. She is also interested in communication and teamwork. Outside of school she conducts meetings to promote non-formal education, leads the non-governmental organisation “Neogen” leader’s hub, and is an active volunteer of the Red Cross Society. She has opened a new place in her village (Anaklia), where teenagers can go spend their free time in a safe and productive manner.

Salome Svanidze

Salome is studying for a Master’s degree in European Union Studies at Tbilisi State University. She is also an executive assistant at the non-governmental think tank – Civic IDEA. Throughout the years Salome has participated in various conferences and workshops regarding human rights, the rule of law, enhancing democracy, and EU-Georgia relationships. Those topics are hugely significant to Salome’s research and professional interests.

Salome has recently graduated with a Bachelor degree in International Relations and English Philology. She worked as an intern at the Supreme Council and the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Her passion is exploring and learning about the complex and diverse universe of international relations. Salome is honoured to be a Young European Ambassador and she hopes this will help her achieve even more success in her professional development.

Salome is a high school student, interested in diplomacy, politics, history, and culture. She is an active volunteer and intern, organising different training courses. She is interested in improving access to non-formal education and believes this is the only way to achieve a better future. As an Erasmus+ alumni, Salome believes in equality, diversity, and tolerance. She wants to widen Georgia’s understanding of human rights and obligations and aims to make a difference, break stereotypes, and make a mark on society. Everyone has a purpose in life, and Salome is certain hers is to make a difference in her society through education and the inclusion of diversity.

Saba Makharadze

Saba is a first-year International Relations student at the Free University of Tbilisi, interested in politics, history, and art. He has been volunteering in different NGOs since 2016 and has taken part in several Erasmus+ projects. In the future, he hopes to help Georgian society in the way of European development, and he believes the YEA initiative will give him the opportunity to bring fundamental changes and improve the quality of life in Georgia.

Saba Sambelashvili

Saba is studying a university foundation course in the United Kingdom. In future, he hopes to study International Relations. He has always been interested in human rights, peace, and equality and has participated in lots of different projects in relation to these topics. He is currently volunteering in an NGO where he is the head of the civic activism and leadership department. Saba is honoured to be part of the YEA initiative and considers it a great responsibility for the future.

Saba is studying for a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the International Black Sea University. When he is not studying, he engages in various civic activities, ranging from shelter volunteering to event organising. Having been involved in several NGOs, and later Co-founding one with his friends, Saba realises the importance of civic engagement and the change that can come with it. He believes the youth of today will be the ones to create a mutually beneficial environment for the future.

Nutsiko Dzandzava

Nutsiko is studying for a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at Tbilisi State University and is currently on an exchange semester at the University of Tartu in Estonia. Outside her studies, she has been actively involved in civic life and has volunteered in various organisations. She also has extensive experience working in the NGO sector. Not long ago she won an award for youth in media literacy and is a “MythLab” fellow. Nutsiko has also written several articles, both fact-checking and academic.

Nutsa Giorgidze

Nutsa is studying Management at Kutaisi International University (KIU). When she is not studying she spends her time practicing photography, PR, copywriting, administration, and volunteering. Her hobbies are dancing, music, arts, and cinematography. Nutsa believes the YEA initiative will give her the opportunities needed to bring fundamental changes and improve quality of life.

Nikoloz Marjanidze

Nikoloz is studying Political Science at Tbilisi State University. He takes particular interest in the development stages and values ​​of the European Union. In Nikoloz’s opinion, political science is key in regulating relations between countries and enhancing people’s living standards. He also takes an interest in the non-formal education sector, as it gives him another point of view on a variety of things. As the young generation is the nation’s future, he believes that the Young European Ambassadors initiative will have a positive impact on his country’s future development.

Nika Tepnadze

Nika is studying for a Bachelor of International Law at Tbilisi State University. After graduating, he aspires to have a career in International Law and Diplomacy and would like to work in the European Court of Human Rights. Nika thinks that volunteering is the key to a bright future and has participated in the European Solidarity Corp in Gaziantep two-month-long volunteering programme in Turkey. Being a Young European Ambassador is a good chance to continue his volunteering passions in Georgia. Nika Kratsashvili

Nika joined the YEAs initiative and EDYN in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of International Relations and a Master’s degree in European Studies from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). He has participated in Erasmus+ ICM programmes during his bachelor’s, allowing him to study at the European University Viadrina in Germany and Lumière University Lyon 2 in France. Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Policies and Governance in Europe at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, Italy. Nia Norakidze

Nia is certain that this initiative will be a remarkable experience which will enable her to gain the skills needed to get involved in Georgia’s European integration. She is a Young Peace Ambassador (GPI), winner of multiple MUNs, member of “The NATO’s Friends Club” (American corner), winner of “Leonardo da Vinci”, a TBC stipendiary, a finalist of “Intel ISEF” and a regional champion of “Diamond Challenge”. She also is a “Volunteer Fact Checker” and an intern at “GRASS – Georgia’s Reforms Associates”.

Natia holds a degree in Sociology and is currently working as a Mobile youth worker in the Akhmeta municipality. She is actively involved in Akhmeta LAG, KRDF, Akhmeta Youth Alliance and Akhmeta Innovation Knowledge Hub activities. As a local Youth leader, she participated in the Study of the United States Summer Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders on Civic Engagement program. Her goal is to support and empower local youth, as well as increase their access to municipal services and programmes.

She aims to make a difference and improve diversity in her community as well as inspire young people that huge change is possible in today’s political life.
