Volunteering opportunity in Finland for young Ukrainians

Young Ukrainians are invited to apply for a volunteering opportunity at the Kukoistus Cultural Collective in Western Finland, organised as part of the European Solidarity Corps. The deadline for applications is 17 April.

The cultural collective aims to increase opportunities for artistic work in the Finnish countryside, combining art with living close to the land while promoting sustainability and ecological values.

The tasks for volunteers vary according to season and the progress of various ongoing building projects, as well as the forest garden. The skills and interests of volunteers will be taken into account. The volunteering lasts for 1-2 months but it is possible to prolong the volunteering if the volunteer wishes so.

Volunteers should be aged 18-30 and interested in art, ecology, gardening, building, and life in the countryside. They should show creativity, self-initiative, flexibility, patience, social skills and a positive outlook.

Accommodation is provided in the residency house and volunteers can prepare their meals in the shared kitchen. There is also a wood heated sauna and a small lake with a tiny beach.
