The Energy Community Secretariat has opened a vacancy for an Electricity Distribution System Expert within its Electricity Unit, based in Vienna, Austria.
The role focuses on supporting the implementation of electricity distribution-related EU acquis across Energy Community Contracting Parties, working closely with distribution system operators, EU institutions, and regional stakeholders. The expert will contribute to policy development, regulatory alignment, data analysis, and coordination activities, including the Energy Community DSO Coordination Group (ECDSO-E).
The call is open to citizens of all Energy Community contracting parties, including Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
Applicants should have at least three years of relevant experience in electricity market regulation or distribution systems, strong analytical and drafting skills, and excellent command of English.
The salary ranges are defined by the Energy Community budget. For this position, the Energy Community Secretariat offers a tax-exempted salary of €6,735. The final remuneration will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and outcome of the recruitment process.
