Take part in Award Ceremony of the European Youth Capital 2028 in Lviv


The Award Ceremony of the European Youth Capital (EYC) 2028 will take place in Lviv, Ukraine, from 27 to 29 November 2025, marking the conclusion of Lviv’s year as European Youth Capital 2025.

This three-day international gathering will celebrate the achievements of Lviv’s EYC year. The event will bring together young people from Ukraine and across Europe, representatives of European institutions, youth organisations, and city delegations.

The programme includes the symbolic handover of the title to Tromsø, European Youth Capital 2026, and will culminate with the announcement of the European Youth Capital 2028. Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, is among the five finalists

The programme also includes visits to youth centres in Lviv, city tours, a TEDx-style event, a panel discussion with youth leaders and policymakers, interactive workshops on key topics, and a cultural evening showcasing Ukrainian traditions.

The organisers will provide accommodation in twin rooms for the nights of 27-29 November 2025, all meals during the programme, and cover transfers (organised transportation from Krakow, Rzeszów, or Warsaw to Lviv and back (by request), flights cannot be covered).

The organisers are looking for youth leaders and youth workers engaged in community development, civic participation, or international cooperation; representatives of youth NGOs, networks, and organisations; delegates from municipalities or youth councils involved in youth policy and urban youth initiatives, and active young people (aged 18-35) interested in fostering intercultural dialogue and European solidarity.

The deadline for application is 14 November.
