Resilience through Partnership: EU-funded grant call for Ukrainian civil society on the path to EU

The Ukrainian Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting has launched the first grant call on ‘Resilience through Partnership: civil society on the path to the EU’.

The competition is being held as part of newly-launched ‘Resilience and engagement for Ukraine: strengthening civil society for Ukraine’s recovery and path to the EU’ (REU) project, funded by the European Union.

The aim of the grant competition is to support partnerships between civil society organisations, think tanks, academia and the media to produce joint analytical and communication outputs on monitoring, analysing and advocating for reforms aimed at Ukraine’s European integration.

The competition is expected to focus on four thematic areas directly linked to key chapters of the EU acquis:

  • chapter 10 ‘Digital Transformation and Media’;
  • chapter 14 ‘Transport Policy’;
  • chapter 20 ‘Enterprise and Industrial Policy’;
  • chapter 29 ‘Customs Union’.

The call is open to CSOs that have been registered in Ukraine for at least one year as of the date of submission of the grant application and have non-profit status. Preference will be given to organisations with proven experience in the field of European integration.

The grant request should fall between 600,000 and 900,000 hryvnias.

The deadline for applications is 1 June.

A dedicated information session will be held online on 6 May 2026 at 14:00. To take part, please register in advance.
