The EU-funded NGO ‘House of Europe’ invites those in Ukraine who dream of gathering famous artists at festivals, holding book fairs, putting together art exhibitions, and advancing Ukrainian culture to join an intensive six-day lab.
The activity will take place on Zoom, from 11 to 22 May.
The lab will benefit cultural project managers with less than two years of experience who seek to systematise their knowledge, and newcomers aspiring to launch art projects who need the fundamentals of cultural project management.
Participants will learn how to come up with powerful ideas, unite teams and partners around them, and make sure that everything goes according to plan. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore trends, working with national minorities, and learn practical tips for working during wartime.
Successful participants will have the chance to receive €500 at the Lab’s conclusion to realise their cultural initiative.
The deadline for applications is 21 April.
The event is part of Cultural Transformation Lab – a series of practical education and networking events aimed at supporting Ukrainian cultural managers, civil society, and cultural actors residing outside large cities and regional centres in times of war.
The Lab is carried out by Goethe-Institut Ukraine and is part of the EU-funded programme House of Europe.
