Girls Leadership Academy 5.0 in Ukraine – open to girls aged 14-16 from small towns and villages

The ‘Girls Leadership Academy 5.0’ project invites girls aged 14-16 from small towns and villages of Ukraine who want to improve their leadership skills to take part in the programme.

During the project, participants will be able to learn more about the concept of responsible leadership, project and team management, effective communication, and successful public speaking.

Project graduates will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also learn how to make changes in practice through the implementation of their own initiatives. Most importantly, they will get to know themselves and the world around them better and become part of a powerful community of like-minded people from all over the country.

The project includes 20 online meetings and creative tasks (taking place from the end of April – mid September), a competition of initiatives, five of which will receive mentoring, organisational and financial support from the NGO Women’s League,  and a study visit to Kyiv in September for the most diligent project graduates (50 people).

The deadline for applications is 10 April.

The ‘Girls Leadership Academy’ project was founded in 2020 as part of the EU4Youth Alumni Network programme with the support of the European Union. The project is implemented in 2025 by the Women’s League NGO in cooperation with the Heinrich Boell Foundation, Kyiv-Ukraine Office.
