The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has announced that its flagship youth event – Your Europe, Your Say! (YEYS) – will take place on 19 and 20 March 2026 at the EESC premises in Brussels.
The EESC is looking forward to welcoming to the event motivated students, young people and educators from the EU Member States, candidate countries, including Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, and the UK. The event will encourage all participants to share their ideas, to work collaboratively, and to create space for meaningful dialogue.
The call is open to secondary school students, aged 16-18 (accompanied by teachers), and young people, aged 18-25. As the event will be held entirely in English, all participants must be able to understand and speak a good level of English.
The deadline for applications is 30 November 2025. To apply, please fill in the form online.
The EESC is a consultative body of the European Union that gives representatives of Europe’s socio-occupational interest groups and others a formal platform to express their points of view on EU issues. Its opinions are addressed to the Council, the European Commission and the European Parliament. It thus has a key role to play in the Union’s decision-making process.
