Funded traineeship for young graduates at EU Delegation to Georgia


The EU Delegation to Georgia invites young graduates interested in international relations and curious to learn more about the work of a diplomatic mission to a traineeship of up to six months in 2026 within its Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section. The tentative start period is June 2026.

The Political, Press and Information Section oversees the bilateral political relations between the European Union and Georgia. It ensures timely, accurate and high-quality analysis and reporting on political developments to the Head of Delegation and to EU headquarters and monitors the media landscape, provides news digests to headquarters and Member States’ embassies and coordinates the communication policy of the EU Delegation to Georgia.

The trainee will monitor, analyse and report on developments in Georgia with relevance to EU interests and policies; support incoming visits, events and conferences, assist with the editing, proofreading, and disseminating of communication materials and perform any other tasks in the interest of the service.

The candidate should have a very good command of English and Georgian (minimum C1), a university degree in Political Science, Law, International Relations, Economics, Communications/Journalism/Media Studies or Public Relations, familiarity with the Georgian political context and EU institutions and policies, and understanding of the Georgian media landscape.

The deadline for applications is 5 May.
