European Solidarity Corps: Long-term volunteering in catholic community in Slovakia

A Christian Catholic NGO from Slovakia called V.I.A.C. (the Institute for Youth Support and Development) is looking for long-term (1 year or 6 months) volunteers, including from Ukraine.

The volunteering will take place from June 2024 to June 2025 in Trstená, a town in central Slovakia.

V.I.A.C. invites young people aged 18-30, open and willing to learn new things, but preferably those who have a positive attitude to Christianity. The volunteer should have at least a communication level of English. Previous volunteering experience and experience of working with children, young people or in social care is welcomed.

Travel costs will be reimbursed in accordance with the rules of Erasmus+.

Volunteers will be accommodated either in the flat in the centre of Trstená or Tvrdošín and will receive pocket money as well as money for food.
