European Forum of Young Leaders in Poland


Young leaders from the European Union, the Eastern Partner countries and Western Balkans are invited to apply for the European Forum of Young Leaders to be held on 24-27 April, 2022 in Katowice, Poland.

The forum will provide space for the participants to reflect on the current political situation, share experience and establish new contacts, with a special focus on the situation of the Ukrainian youth. Other themes of the Forum will include the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, as well as thematic priorities of the EU Youth Programmes 2021-2027, including inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environment and the fight against climate change and participation in democratic life.

The Forum will be held in a hybrid format bringing together 200 participants in Katowice, and online.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
