European Dialogue on Internet Governance invites participants from Eastern Partnership

The European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) is the European regional event of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF). 

It brings together 600-900 stakeholders from across the European continent, both on-site and online, to discuss the future of the Internet. The messages that emerge from the discussions are published and presented to the European Commission, the Council of Europe, the UN Internet Governance Forum, and beyond. 

The organiser fully funds passionate individuals aged 18-30 from across Europe to participate in the event, dive into pressing digital policy debates and receive hands-on capacity building training to actively contribute to EuroDIG and connect with peers.

The call is open to youth from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. 

This year, EuroDIG will take place on 26-27 May 2026 at the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission in Brussels. It will be hosted by EURid – the registry for the .eu domain name – and the event will mark 20 years of .eu, celebrating two decades of the trusted digital identity.

The Youth Dialogue on Internet Governance (YOUthDIG) fully funds young people from across Europe, aged 18-30, to travel to YOUthDIG and EuroDIG to learn about ongoing European digital policies and current issues, receive capacity building training to engage in EuroDIG actively, provide intercultural activities and empower youth to contribute to discussions. 

The programme starts with 4 online webinars, followed by a 3-day in-person pre-programme before EuroDIG.

The deadline for applications is 16 February 2026, 23:59 CET/Brussels time.

The organisers especially welcome newcomers to Internet Governance to apply, those who do not have any prior experience and want to learn something new or those who work on a specific subject area (e.g. AI, cybersecurity, law, art, communications, biology, medicine, or other) and want to broaden their understanding on how digitalisation or Internet policies would impact their fields.
