Applications are now open for civil society organisations, media outlets and content creators from the Republic of Moldova as part of the call launched by GLOBSEC, a global think-tank based in Bratislava, Slovakia, and co-funded by the European Union.
The grant competition aims to support independent voices in Moldova, with a priority focus on organisations working in vulnerable regions, particularly in Gagauzia.
The call is open to independent media organisations in Moldova that are committed to EU values, having at least three years of continuous operation and an audience of at least 50,000 people per month.
The requested grant amount should fall between €5,000 to €40,000. The total budget is €75,000.
Eligible activities include production of multimedia content (articles, videos, podcasts, infographics) on disinformation, media literacy, and factual reporting; investigative journalism addressing disinformation, foreign influence, or manipulation of local narratives; social media campaigns tailored to audiences in vulnerable regions; and reporting on issues relevant to Gagauzia and other regions exposed to FIMI (disinformation and foreign malign influence).
The deadline for applications is 23 November.
