The EU-funded ‘House of Europe’ NGO in Ukraine invites Ukrainian directors, artistic directors, and managers of theatres for children to take part in an intensive training on ‘Theatre for children’.
The training sessions are scheduled from 18 to 29 May 2026. They will take place online with a one-day offline pitching in Kyiv.
These Digital Labs are dedicated to finding a balance between creativity and running a competitive institution.
The Labs will address the pressing issues: how to compete with TikTok for attention, talk about war without retraumatisation, and see accessibility as an artistic strategy rather than a formality. The trainers will focus on copyright, project management, alternative funding sources, PR, and communications.
By the end of the programme, the participants will have a project ready for their theatre and a network of like-minded peers from Ukraine and the EU. They will receive a professional development certificate and the opportunity to receive up to €500 for professional development.
The deadline for applications is 6 April.
