The EU-funded programme Culture Moves Europe programme has opened a new call for residency hosts, opened to Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The call for residency hosts provides financial support to legal entities wishing to host between one and five artists and cultural professionals for a residency project and to provide them with an opportunity to learn, create, explore, connect, or transform.
To apply, legal entities should be registered and based in one of the Creative Europe countries, have the capacity to host the proposed residency project with artists and cultural professionals from other Creative Europe countries, and be active in one of the eligible sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts.
The residency grant offers financial support to the host and each resident. The host receives hosting allowance (€50 per day, per resident) and accessibility support (if applicable). The resident receives a daily allowance (€30 per day) and travel allowance (depending on travel distances). If applicable, additional funding is available in the form of a green mobility top-up (€400), family top-up (€200 per child) and visa top-up (€120).
The deadline for applications is 16 March 2026.
Please note that upcoming developments in the legal and regulatory environment of Georgia may affect the implementation of this call for participation and activities supported under it.
