Apply for summer school on investigative journalism in Moldova

The Centre for Investigative Journalism of Moldova (CIJM) invites investigative journalists from all regions of the country to register for its summer school on ‘Investigative Journalism: strengthening skills to investigate electoral corruption’, funded by the European Union.

The activity is scheduled for 27-28 June, and will be held at Mimi Hotel Chișinău (37 Maria Cebotari St.).

Training participants will discuss the experiences of journalists who have monitored and reported on elections during recent election campaigns, including the challenges they faced and their success stories, as well as working with databases – including verifying political party financing and candidate integrity.

The programme also includes two practical workshops, during which participants will identify topics for investigations and develop plans for them.

Experts leading the training will include representatives from public institutions, international organisations, and civil society organisations, and investigative journalists from the Republic of Moldova.

Accommodation and meals will be provided during the training days, and participants from outside the capital will be reimbursed for their travel expenses.

To participate in the training, please fill out the registration form:

The summer school is organised with the support of the ‘Resilient Democracy through Anti-Corruption’ (REDACT) project, implemented by UNDP Moldova and funded by the European Union.
