Mobility barriers of displaced women and their impact on women’s economic empowerment


The Office of the Public Defender of Georgia conducted the study within the framework of the project “Promoting the Economic and Social Involvement of Vulnerable IDPs and Local Population in the South Caucasus (EPIC)”, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in cooperation with the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. 

The study examines barriers to the mobility of displaced women and their impact on women’s economic empowerment.
