Gender Impact Assessment of the Law of Georgia on Public Service

This brief summarises the Gender Impact Assessment (GIA) of the Law of Georgia on Public Service. The research aims to support the Civil Service Bureau in identifying existing gender gaps in the Law and to provide the Government of Georgia with evidence-based recommendations for its improvement to promote further gender equality and women’s empowerment within public service.

GIA of the Law of Georgia on Public Service is a joint initiative of UN Women and the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia. The ISET Policy Institute conducted the study in 2022-2023 within the framework of the “Good Governance for Gender Equality in Georgia” project generously supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
