The report “Comprehensive Sexuality Education in Georgia: Report Assessing the Alignment of Sexuality Education in the School Curriculum with International Standards for Comprehensive Sexuality Education” was published by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Georgia Country Office on 14 August 2024. This 48-page document evaluates the extent to which Georgia’s general education system aligns with international standards for comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). The report underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to CSE in Georgia, recommending enhancements in curriculum content, teacher training, and the establishment of effective monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
