Analysis of the Gender Pay Gap and Gender Inequality in the Labor Market in Georgia


The report was prepared in the framework of the project “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the South Caucasus”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Development Cooperation through the Austrian Develop­ment Agency.

The report Analysis of the Gender Pay Gap and Gender Inequality in the Labor Market in Georgia addresses the gender pay gap and gender inequality in labor market in Georgia. It includes the decomposition of the gender pay gap based on 2017 Labor Force survey, gender disaggregation of the labor indicators in Georgia, comprehensive methodological review and the guidelines of the quantitative analysis and policy recommendations.
