The war crimes the Kremlin refuses to acknowledge – watch new Youtube episode of series on Russian propaganda

The latest video episode of the project ‘What the propaganda is silent about’, focused on the Russian war crimes that Moscow refuses to acknowledge, has been released on YouTube.

The project is implemented by Zerkalo.io, an independent Belarusian media created by part of the former TUT.BY team, and Ukrainian 24 TV (24tv.ua), in partnership with EU NEIGHBOURS east and EUvsDisinfo.
The new episode reminds us that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has targeted civilians, killed and tortured people, and deported and forcibly assimilated Ukrainian children in an effort to intimidate Ukrainians and inflict maximum damage.

Despite ample evidence of these crimes, including those documented by a UN special commission, the Kremlin and its allies in Belarus usually respond to any accusations in three ways: either by denying altogether, or by claiming to act legally, or by saying they do not recognise international organisations as such.

The story is available in Russian with English subtitles.

The newly-launched YouTube channel ‘What the propaganda is silent about’ addresses Russian-speaking audiences with reliable information about the war, and combats Kremlin propaganda and myths, which are actively promoted in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, and the wider EaP region.
