EU and UNDP develop guide on environmental journalism for Moldovan students

The Association of Environmental Journalists of Moldova, with the support of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has developed a guide for students interested in environmental journalism.

The Environmental Journalism Student Guide is a resource for students who are beginning to explore environmental topics. The brochure provides useful information on the core values and principles of environmental journalism, possible topics of interest, and recommendations on selecting relevant topics, identifying and using resources, proper documentation, and avoiding the most common mistakes.

This brochure was produced as part of the EU-funded project ‘Promoting an Inclusive Green Transition in the Republic of Moldova’, implemented by UNDP.

Since 2016, UNDP, the European Union, Sweden and the Global Environment Facility have been supporting the development of journalists’ capacity and skills to address environmental issues.
