Electrical equipment, agricultural products, furniture items, fats and oils, wines and beverages were the main categories of goods exported by the Republic of Moldova to the European Union in 2025, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova, cited by the EU Delegation to Moldova.
The total value of Moldovan exports to the European Union exceeded US$ 2.55 billion. Electrical equipment accounted for US$ 496.8 million, followed by agricultural products at USD$ 489.1 million, furniture at US$ 127.9 million, fats and oils at US$ 122.4 million, and wines and beverages at US$ 100.4 million. Together, these categories represent almost half of exports to the European market.

In January-November 2025, the main export destinations of the Republic of Moldova in the EU were Romania (29.2%), Italy (9.2%), Czechia (8.3%), Germany (4.0%), and Bulgaria (3.5%).
The share of exports to the European Union amounted to 68.1% of total exports of the Republic of Moldova in 2025, increasing compared to previous years, from 67.3% in 2024, 65.4% in 2023, and 58.6% in 2022.
