Education Week in Moldova: EU, UNDP and partners organise workshop on transforming the learning process

On 21 May, more than 200 pupils, teachers and school principals from model schools took part in a workshop on transforming the learning process, held in Chisinau as part of Education Week in Moldova.

The event was organised by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, supported by the EU, Poland and Norway.

The workshop focused on identifying the most effective solutions to make education more attractive, relevant and future-oriented. Participants explored modern strategies for motivating students, interdisciplinary approaches such as phenomenon-based and problem-solving learning, and discussed the role of STEAM education in developing the skills needed in an ever-changing world.

Another topic of discussion at today’s seminar was ‘Career Guidance’. Participants highlighted the importance of practical experience in preparing students to make informed decisions about their future.

During the event, the initiative’s partner institutions hosted information sessions on the education and job markets, study visits, meetings with professionals from various fields, career fairs, and other events.
