The European Commission has recently presented its proposal for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF 2028–2034), including the Global Europe Regulation and the horizontal Performance Regulation. These proposals would apply to enlargement countries and those in the Eastern Neighbourhood.
To provide more clarity on these developments, the Directorate-General for Enlargement and the Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST) is pleased to invite civil society organisations working in the region to an information session on the implications of the Global Europe proposal in the Enlargement and Neighbourhood East regions. Mathieu Bousquet, Director for Enlargement Coordination, Strategy, and Investments at DG ENEST, will host the session.
The session is scheduled for 4 November, from 15:00 to 16:30 (CET), and it will take place online. (English only – interpretation not available).
The session will provide an overview of what Global Europe may mean for partners in enlargement countries and in the Eastern Neighbourhood and offer an opportunity for CSOs to ask questions (to reiterate, this is an informal information session, not a public consultation).
This event is open to all interested civil society organisations. Please, register here to receive the online meeting link.
