She is very interested in community activities, and one of her main interests is volunteering. In the future, she would like to become a lawyer and is currently actively working to achieve that goal, while also being a dynamic member of “Euroclub Oshakan”. She is looking forward to being a part of the YEA initiative and the new challenges and opportunities it will bring.

Varvara is studying at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, is one of the members of the “Uniting Bridge” social non-governmental organisation (NGO) and is an active member of “EuroClub Oshakan”. She is very interested in community activities, and one of her main interests is volunteering. She is also very excited about the new opportunities the YEAs will bring and the development she will gain in the future.

Anush Mkrtchyan

Anush is an active youth and social worker, who has always been interested in international relations, human rights, decision-making, and politics. As a future diplomat and hardworking volunteer in humanitarian and youth fields for the past 7 years, she seeks every opportunity to make lasting impacts on other people, communities, and countries. The YEAs are the perfect next step for her professional development, and she is looking forward to being a part of this opportunity.

Diana Mesropyan

Diana has many hobbies including writing books and designing apps. She plays the guitar and can’t imagine my life without music. She absolutely loves astronomy. “How can we look at the sky full of stars every night and not ask ourselves what secrets are being kept by this place?”. In addition, Diana loves playing tennis and reading books – her favourite is ‘Six of Crows’. She believes the YEA initiative will be a great addition to her active social life and provide her with new and exciting opportunities to grow.

Lilit Markaryan

Lilit is an ambitious, inquisitive, and hard-working youth worker, English as a Second language (ESL) teacher, and entrepreneur from Armenia. She was a European Voluntary Service (EVS) participant, is an Erasmus Credit Mobility Exchange student, an active member of the EU4Youth Alumni network at EU NEIGHBOURS east, and now a proud Young European Ambassador.

Tatevik Margaryan

Tatevik holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which qualifies her as a trained Psychologist and is currently studying a Master of Science in Global Public Health at the Queen Mary University of London. She is also working as a psychologist at the Armenian National Centre of Oncology (NCO) named after V. A. Fanarjyan. She has been working at NCO for more than 6 months now and she absolutely loves it. NCO is the only cancer-oriented hospital in Armenia, and she is the only psychologist working there at the moment. In the future, Tatevik has plans to work in the sphere of public health in Armenia.

Arman Manukyan

Arman is a young professional, working as a learning coach at a school and in one of the largest IT companies in Armenia. He holds a Bachelor degree in Geographic Information Science (GIScience) & Computer Cartography. Arman is always seeking new adventures, often described as an enthusiast because of that. He participates in a lot of projects conducted by different non-governmental organisations (NGOs), including the “Uniting Bridge”, where he is currently an active member. He believes that together, as a unit, with our creativity and great energy, we can shape a better world.

Sona Khachatryan

Sona is currently studying at the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) and is a member of the ‘Uniting Bridge’ social non-governmental organization (NGO). She is also an active member of Euroclub Oshakan, is extremely interested in volunteering and she always engages in community activities. In the future, she wants to become an accountant and considers being an active citizen very important.

Meri Jilavyan

Meri is a young and enthusiastic up and coming leader from Armenia, who graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Service at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences in 2021, specializing in Service. Over the years, she has built up considerable life skills and experiences that have enabled her to become a competent and efficient young leader. She has a great passion for music, photography, and motion design. She believes art can serve as a force for social change, and can shine a spotlight on the truth, create moments of joy, and inspire people to act.

Vika Hovsepyan

Vika is studying at the Faculty of Public Relations at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences. She is also a volunteer for “Yeghvard”, a youth-ecological non-governmental organisation (NGO), the beneficiary of the “The Access” micro scholarship programme and a participant in many local and international educational projects. She is excited to be a YEA and is looking forward to the opportunities this initiative will bring.

Ashot Hayrapetyan

Ashot is a Business Management student at the Armenian-Russian (Slavic) State University. He is currently taking part in the “European Solidarity Corps” volunteering project in Hungary, focused on the topic of non-formal education in English. Ashot speaks three foreign languages: English, Chinese and Russian, and is fond of travelling and discovering new cultures and traditions. He also likes reading books and listening to podcasts about psychology, self-development, business management and human relations.

Anna graduated from secondary school and plans to continue her studies with a degree in aerospace engineering. She is interested in photography and enjoys creating unique pictures with a distinct focus on light play. Anna is an eco-activist who is passionate about changes and development worldwide and believes the YEA initiative will help her share her passions with the world.

Seda Hakobyan

Seda is a young professional and a graduate of the Armenian-Russian (Slavic) State University, specialising in International Relations. She is currently doing a two-month internship at the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. She has good analytical skills and is passionate about politics. Her main rule in life is to always be open to new challenges and learning prospects, and she considers the YEA initiative to be the next challenge and learning prospect in her life.

Seda Grigoryan

Seda Grigoryan is studying for a Bachelor of Arts at the American University of Armenia. She is a youth worker, volunteer, and student ambassador at her university, and actively participates in many international and local youth projects. She is the co-founder of the “Youth Community” non-governmental organisation (NGO), which aims to promote youth engagement in community development. Seda’s professional interest lies in the field of international growth.
